IF JVR was the Centerman, I don't think he ends up needing to take a break before the linesman drops the puck.

Whoever that leaf guy was needs to work on his cardio.

- Oilhab

Leafs training staff are consciously keeping Bozak's cardio at a low level.

We don't want him coming back to burn us when we trade him to the Islanders for Tavares at the deadline.

You are an awesome hunk of man.

Any chance you can post pictures of yourself with your shirt off?

Oilhab would love it.

So would I, to be honest.

That explains how Gorges was able to skate at break-neck speed in the third period.

I see what you did there.

A 5 minute major in a 1-1 tie that we had killed off successfully for 4:30...

I'm not saying the Leafs played great, but there's no doubting that was the turning point in the game.

- Leeman4Gilmour

It was an awful call.... but at the same time. Had the leafs somehow squeaked a win out of that awful performance, there would still be cause for concern over the game. I think the shots were like 20 - 5 at that point anyways.

Montreal won a lot of the battles last night. I'm hoping it was a case of the game being over hyped and the leafs just taking a night off...

Need 2 points tonight on the isle.

the refs had nothing to do with that loss last night.. We were just grossly outplayed.. Should have been even more lopsided but for some nice goaltending early on by Scrivens.. Only complaint I have is those linesmen. Night after night game after game (not just leaf games) they have such issues with dropping the darn puck.. Do they want the lime light that bad?

The way the Canadiens played, it was only a matter of time. It's just too bad the GWG was handed to them on a silver platter like that.

Turning point of the game, where they continued to be outskated and outshot for the rest of the night.

Funny thing is, they always seem to toss somebody, yet they have NEVER given a penalty for tossing two guys out. why is it so common for one false start, yet there are never two false-starts?

Toronto is 24th in the league in shots per game, and 24th in the league in shots against per game.

It's the system. Don't worry too much about it.

What was Bozak thinking?

You do know it is not up to the ref to wait for the player to be ready, if they are at the dot, and their feet are in position, they can drop the puck.

If he needed a break he should have pushed away from the circle.
