This is the 1st game Ive watched in a while and if the effort has been this bad, I think a trade would be good. Nothing wakes a team up like sending someone to the Siberia of N. America...Edmonton or Winnipeg.

If?

when they don't make it. It all depends on Sherman's status as GM of Colorado. Is his job on the line? If not, dump ROR and take the first and third. This would be like the Boston v. Toronto deal in which Boston parlayed Kessel for Seguin, Dougie Hamilton and Knight. A deep draft and two picks in the top 13 could do wonders for Colorado.

I dont think Bylsma is emphasizing neutral zone turnovers and playing with the puck in our own zone, two things that have been happening a ton tonight. So lets cool it on it being the coaches fault there. The players have been bad.

The defensemen have been horrendous tonight with their puck decisions. All of them

Neutral zone turnovers have been happening all year.....actually turnovers in all 3 zones. If Bylsma can't get that fixed, he's not the coach for this team. It's his job to find solutions.

Frankly, it's got to be known by now that you challenge the Pens in the neutral zone and they turn it over like clock work.

Like I said before, If not for MAF, Our record would be much worse.

Grab a center for Iggy when he has 2-3 more good years left. They still need to trade Iggy and draft a young skilled winger
- drummer829

The fact they made an offer for ROR tells me Feaster won't be trading Iggy. Why sign ROR to the sheet for ridiculous money if you plan to deal Iggy and more? Why possibly give up a first and third in a deep draft if you plan to deal Iggy? I agree, but he doesn't get it. There are some nice pieces there that could fetch a decent return to restock that pathetic farm system.

Maybe it's me being Eastern Conference-centric, but I didn't even know who O'Reilly was until he held out.

Being Colorado's leading scorer is like.....well you can finish the sentence. I pretty much agree with you.

ROR better hope that the avs match. The avs at least have a solid team and looks like are going to get another high pick this year

Kinda poetic justice for acting like an ass and being a 50 point guy holding out for $5 mil a year. You got it, but you get to spend the next two seasons in Calgary.

Another poop power play and Bortuzzo gets a penalty for making a bad turnover. I'm done with this game

ROR's agent during talks, well, he was your leading point producer to Colorado GM. A smart GM would come back saying someone has to be the leading scorer on a bad team. He is a good second center, great third center. He ain't worth 6.5 million though. It's contracts like this that will screw the game once again.

Sidenote, but Skinner is probably the biggest diver in the league.

Contracts like these only screw the team giving them out because they get burned for good draft picks.

I disagree. You don't think now decent players, not great are looking at what ROR will make and ask for similar? Remember, this guy only had 18 goals and 53 points last year. That isn't that good.

I think the Penguins DID get the their game

1. Lots of turnovers given to the opponent
2. Chaos around the net (their own)
3. Moderate effort...looks like shinny
4. Don't hit anyone
5. Make average players into stars.

When you think about it if we didn't get a schedule break in getting FLA and TB on the second of back to backs this team could easily be 11-10.
