Good Question.

Hasnt that been one of our major problems with all our young players?

Yeah, we all just want to be the person saying, "You see?! I knew it!" when it all goes wrong.
- UIF

Aint that the truth.

NYer's are a breed amongst themselves.

So I've been told on several occasions since moving down South.

KO's turning over or falling down is almost as predictable as Kvasha's skate down the wing, circle the net and turnover the puck. That used to drive me nuts ...talk about the definition of insanity!
- keaner17

I thought you were going to say. Kvasha skates down the wing, dumps the puck and circles back to the bench!

If we learned anything from Chara it should be that big guys like this take time to develop. At this stage of his career, I think Finley is actually a better skater than Chara was. I'm not saying he's the next Zdeno, but I'm also not saying he isn't. At that size, if he becomes just an average skater and improves his strength the sky's the limit.
- keaner17

I'd love to see a Larry Robinson coach this kid. Isles better be patient with Finley. There could be huge upside with Finley no pun intended.

Unfortunately it will never happen. Snow thinks the that Boyes is the answer for the top line. Coaching change?? Not with Snow leading the way. Anybody else form Massachussets we can hire?
- kasperrko

Even if he is not getting heat from Wang I doubt Snow wants to answer why he had to fire another coach and why his neck is not on the line. Jack is going to get plenty of chances to turn it around.

at this point I would rather the Isles talk Mariusz Czerkawski out of his 6 year retirement to play over this waste of space. Atleast Marius could skate.

Wow...definitely don't like to hear the suicide talk no matter what. The kid is the target of so much hatred from the fanbase that it's got to weigh heavier than anyone can understand.

Like him or hate him, DP had a promising career at the time he signed his albatross contract and he committed his entire career to this team when no one else would. I'm glad he's no longer weighing the team down but that certainly doesn't mean I don't wish him some luck for a change.

Hard to argue X. This softie bring nothing. He is not a Garth pick so why is he still on the team? At least sit the guy.

I'm sure plenty of guys would have committed if they got a 15 year deal I love when people post that

Especially if Poulin doesn't pull it together over his next few starts. He looked like a young DP out there (that's no compliment). In theory he should calm down and become more composed, but if he struggles, it will give Wang an excuse to pressure Snow into calling DP back up. Especially if DP shows signs of improvement....

I have to agree. This is very sad. I don't wish suicide on anyone. Hopefully he can retire and just move on from this mess. Wish him the best because he is human.

Trade deadline comes and we trade Nabby... DP is back, Someone gets injured out of Nabby & Poulin.. DP comes back. He's not gone till he is either retired, bought out, or traded.

But that would have been a breach of contract right?

- Isles4fornow

Not to make this into something it's not but not funny on the suicide jokes.

I felt awful reading that. We all knew it wasn't easy on him playing like crap and getting booed all the time but I certainly didn't think he was seriously depressed.
