I dont know I think Grabner should be on teh second line he has earned that this year. He is all over the place. HEY JACK PUT KO ON THE THIRD OR FOURTH LINE!!

He said he has no choices well there is one

Hey, we don't want to insult him. "Line 3b," please.

Just saw Staples listing of the lines..
Boulton-Reasoner-Martin
Grabner-Cizikis-McDonald

could we not have traded McDonald and Martin on that? Why the hell is Martin wasting away with Reasoner and Boulton?

- keaner17

Martin and Cizikas developed some chemistry. Can't have that!

Does it really matter?...Jack-off just keeps rolling four lines anyway.

I feel bad for Martin he has the biggest heart on the team, shows up every shift, and the takes it like a man from Jack.

It is weird as soon as he sees that Jack panics and is like we need to split them up to show more scoring. Jack is clueless

This team has only gotten performance out of it's 1st and 3rd lines so why the heck not!

Heard JT is taking shots in net during warmups...Jack feels his hand-eye coordination will translate well to the position.

Lets put it this way. Most of our second line and third line are guys who seriously should not be in the NHL. JAck would not know how to do a line up if it meant his life. Maybe he should ask JT what line combos he should put out there or WEight.

you ask why martin is not on better line. Its simple. Isles didnt want to pay him alot. If they put him on a good line and he puts up 20+ goals they fear he will be disgruntle with his 1MM a year contract. How he even signed that long baffles me. I think Martin can be a legit Lucic type power foward if given the chance.

That is why isles are so BUTT backwards. They rather lose Using KO or Reasoner instead of thriving on doing what is right.

Also since when did Finley become the isles Secret weapon. Lets not overstate him as a player. Btw, Martinek is Even on his plus minus despite isles getting outscored 8-3 in last two games> he is great dman to have in lineup until he falls to injury.

havent boulton in lineup is pointless. Cappy only plays him for 3mins a game.

My coach for a day lineup
Moulson Tavares Martin
Grabner Nielson Boyes
Bailey Cizikas Ullstrom
Boulton Reason McDonald

And give that 2nd and 3rd line equal playing time.

Bench KO until he realizes he needs to drive to net and shot at least 5 times a a game.

I would try Hickey on PP point on 2nd Unit. A-Mac isnt getting it done.

Regarding Finley...I don't think anyone believes he'll be our Chara...but if he can even develop into what Sutton provided for the Isles, I think most of us would welcome that, no? Not the most mobile guy in the world, and next to useless offensively, but a big body that can block shots, clear the crease and throw an occasional big hit? I'd take that for a bottom-pair d-man. He's not there yet, but better in his last two games than his first two for sure.

and this is why you are not a coach. I do like the Hickey statement though. Amac is a trocious on the power play.

I say switch Cizikas with Nielson and if need to put KO in Boulton spot. Let him play like 5 minutes a game

He's young. He'll improve with the correct tutoring. He's huge, he's physical & he plays with a sandpaper edge. Whats not to like.

He should develop into a decent, intimidating, defensive minded # 5 or # 6 "D" man. Provided Isles dont ruin him before he even gets going.

I dont think Jimmc is from NY so it maybe hard for him to understand why NYer's get mad in anticipation of something that may not ever happen.

It's like a warm up for "Just in case".

If we learned anything from Chara it should be that big guys like this take time to develop. At this stage of his career, I think Finley is actually a better skater than Chara was. I'm not saying he's the next Zdeno, but I'm also not saying he isn't. At that size, if he becomes just an average skater and improves his strength the sky's the limit.

KO's turning over or falling down is almost as predictable as Kvasha's skate down the wing, circle the net and turnover the puck. That used to drive me nuts ...talk about the definition of insanity!
