The comeback starts about the same time as the playoff push.

Wow... poor DP... he will need some help for sure.

How much more can this guy take?

How do you go from a 1st overall pick to this?

Somebody needs to keep an eye on him.... he has to be feeling like poop right now!!!

I wish he would just retire and realize he had success. He got to play in the NHL and the Olympics. Now enjoy his money and maybe coach a youth league or something.

Problem is, he cant just retire, no one in their right mind would walk away from that type of money & if he retires he does not get over 30 million dollars.. who would walk away from that???? Honestly!

Per Arthur Staple:

Bridgeport now is winless in seven games and well out of playoff contention

Even the farm team sucks....

Judging by the stats the El Nino is back to being himself. Trade him please, last thing we need is KO number two....

I don't know...there seems to be more chatter this year among coaches, on broadcasts, and just in general, of people recognizing that there is some talent on this team. Tavares and Moulson get most of the credit, but Grabner's getting some recognition for what he provides. And we know what we have in some of our bottom-six energy players that can actually sustain a forecheck and get some momentum going. We haven't had that in recent years...never had a line like Martin-Cizikas-McD/whoever who we could throw out there when things start spiraling out of control to maybe swing some momentum back in the Isles' favor and at least have a shift spent mostly in the other team's zone.

I really think there's enough talent where, with a heck of a lot more structure in how the team approaches the game, particularly in its own zone, getting into the playoffs wouldn't be entirely out of the realm of possibility. Do the Leafs have that much more talent than the Isles? Or the Jets? Because both of those teams are currently holding down playoff spots...

That's my point, anyway. It's not that they have that much talent (although they are a lot better in that regard than the team I saw here five years ago), it's that there are a whole lot of other teams that don't, either, and the only reason that this one isn't sporting a playoff spot right now is because of a system that doesn't work in professional hockey, and a propensity toward complete indiscipline. My argument is bring in a "defense first" coach who won't put up with any sh*t, and see if I'm right.

5 goals on 12 shots

I can't stop laughing.

F**king embarrassing. Time to take RDP out to pasture and put his career out of its misery.
