Does this mean we have to take the night off from ragging on KO?

Okposo looked like he just won his own personal Stanley Cup. Good for him though...for the first game this season he earned it.

Better keep their foot on the gas. I hope they don't just try to play for the point with this much time left.

The Leafs, Like the Isles are very giving. And they stink, what a sloppy game.

Both teams tend to sport the pond hockey game plan....

Good third period at least. Looked like it was heading toward a sleepy loss.

Solid effort, most of the game.

Don't usually post, but I figure I'll join in the argument. Okposo had his second staright excellent game. He sucked the entire year previous to Boston/Toronto but I'd like to see him stick with the second line since they're generating some offense.

What does everyone think?

I think this team needs an actual coach....

Totally agree, but a coach is no good if the owner won't let the GM spend money.

So-so first, bad second, good third. Nothing really to be proud of. Think Cappy should be more fiery after a loss like that rather than attributing it to bounces. Nowhere near the level this team needs to play at to win, and not even at the level they were at against Boston the other night.

this game was a winnable game. Crap goal by Nabby (yet another softie) and terrible defense (flailing at the puck instead of playing the body)

They waste a perfectly good opportunity to pick up two points.

Agreed. It's not like it was as bad an effort as the game against Philly or the first NYR game, but they played just well enough to lose, and the coach and some of the players sounded just fine with that in the post-game interviews.

Jack did seem like his team won tonight. The coach and these players never learn. This one point probably got Jack at least another 10 games. The way Nabby has been playing I would not bring in back next year.
