There's a bunch in Rochester. Biega, Pysyk, Schiestel, Mackenzie, Gauthier-Leduc. But the NHL team has 1. And that includes Pardy. So out of 9 guys, 1 shoots right.

I dunno about great, I would say good. If he cleans up his own end he could get there, but at the moment hes offsetting his production with his turnovers in our zone. I'm hoping with some experience he stops doing that as much.

I still would take Kass's grit. Buffalo's in last place for a reason. Their tough guy has no skill. Kass has really lit a fire under this whole team in regards to their physicality. I am more than happy with how it's turned out. Its easy to determine who won the trade. Check the standings

Honestly though, with Kesler out and the apparent winger log jam, Hodgson would be more valuable to the Canucks at this moment. From what I've seen from Cody this year, his play has been solid. Of course having a red hot Vanek on your line helps, but certainly has something to do with that.

Sabres need grit, but Kassian pretty much never showed any while in Buffalo. Didn't hit, didn't fight, didn't really go to the net either. He was strong on the boards, that's what I noticed most.

Maybe he's doing those things in Vancouver? I've watched parts of a few Vancouver games this year and don't notice him.
