Can someone explain to me why Hartley has such love for Comeau? This is ridiculous. (if Cervenka is ailing then I understand, but all indications say he's fine)

Can't wait until Cervenka signs else where in the off season and puts up 60/70 points.

After reading part of an article today, my bet is Cervenka goes back to Europe after this season. The article said that Cervenka admitted that he never really played in his own zone while in Europe.

Not sure if he wants to change his game enough to stick in the NHL? He would probably be paid more in Europe than he would get in the NHL next season.

As for Comeau, i also don't get it. It's not just Hartely who likes him, Sutter liked him also. Feaster wanted to sign him to a 2 year contract and Comeau only wanted one. If Feaster and Hartely are with the flames next year my bet is Comeau will be also.

Hartley thinks Comeau is French? Probably strikes up a convo au Francias and is perplexed when Comeau doesn't respond.

Imagine if Rene Bourque was still here...... he would be playing 52 minutes a night!

All things considered, he would need to go to a team with either an injured tender or ione that is struggling between the pipes. It would also need to be a team who will pay a premium for a rental goalie, in the off chance he dosnt resign. It will also need to be a team who has extra youth they can afford to move and are a goalie away from being contenders.

For a team looking like it will miss the playoffs for the 4th year in a row, not one veteran should be untouchable. If those 2 bring back the best return then you trade them.




Imo...they can afford to move Kipper if Ramo is coming back. He's not as "questionable" as people seem to think.

The 2nd post is what i think ownership will do with the situation.

Got no problem if they trade Kipper. They can trade most of the roster for all i care. Flames have many holes and need to go in a new direction.
