If Max didn't get suspended for a worse hit on the Ranger player, only a two minute minor on that play mind you, why should Brown even get consideration for one? This is all goes to the bad officiating, the NHL needs to come out publicly and say the standards need to be better.

I believe the GM's are going to address the issue at the GM meetings in March. Consensus is that the officiating has been very bad this year.
