I got a bad feeling about last night's game after the first goal (Emelin on the delayed penalty). It wasn't a terribly bad goal for Scrivens to allow, but it just seemed to go through him.

In fact, on a few of those goals, the puck just seemed to go through him. That's not a great sign for a goalie whose bread and butter is getting in the right position and letting pucks hit him.

He's played well enough that I'm not going to get worked up over a bad game, but I think that the workload is adding up for him. He could use a break. Glad Reimer is back.

Actually, Dredger reported that its Kuli that they are sniffing around about.
- faceto27

I agree to that deal.

Oh, guess I should ask: what are we getting back?

Deal is still good, though.

Also, it's time to trade Bozak. Bring up Colborne, and sink or swim. Punch Grabbo up to #1 until Kadri takes it from him, throw Colborne on the checking (hope you score line) and put Kadri with Lupul and Frattin.

Boom - done.

No need to thank me.

Making a comparison, I made a post regarding a situation that might get out of hand, it is my prerogative to lay out what I think is best at that moment, I did so and no incidents happened the rest of the night, to me, that is a success.

edit: I have no problem with the way Howard refs, it works for him.

Realistically what would we want from the Blues for a package of say Franson & Kulemin. (not even sure if Franson is available anymore since he's been pretty decent under Carlyle.
I'm thinking
To St. Louis
Mike Komisarek, Nikolai Kulemin

To Toronto - Patrick Berglund

would sweeten deal to make it happen, nice big center

Yeah, the reality is that when Grabo and Bozak both have a bad game, our odds of winning are about 10% on a good day.

When Frattin and Lupul are also out, that number drops to 0%. There isn't enough offensive punch on the third line to carry the team when first two lines take the night off.

Recipe for a worse team!

Colborne needs to be with offensive guys to produce. And he's not a defensive guy.

It was an insult that was hurled and I gave him a 4 hour timeout, hardly something to make an uproar about.

You remind me of Buford Pusser in Walking Tall.

But the original - not the one they made with the wrestler.

Howard is more like Billy Jack.

Oh yeah, it's obscure movie reference day.
