Complaining about refs is a waste of time, energy and brain cells. It's going to happen to every team at some point and there is nothing you can do about it.
Bounces? You mean like the first goal? Again, they happen to everyone.
Feel free to go into EE's thread and discuss things in a normal way. Nothing wrong with that.

the leafs were just as pathetic as the reffing/linesmen work last night - so i am not going to make a fuss about it.

leafs first goal was a 4th line goal, at least they drove it to the net after winning a battle in the corner and it wasnt a Pussaretti special.

I stood up for the Kessel because he was playing both ends of the ice but the last two games he hasn't engaged in any play, looks tired and uninspired.

Last night, Kadri and Komarov were the only ones who showed up to play.

- LeafMan

Time to shake things up, IMO.

No better time than after a loss, and 3 straight pretty poopty games(game vs Philly wasn't good, they just really really suck).

Put Kadri with Kessel, Bozak on the shut-down line, and Grabo on the secondary offense line.

And bring up Gardiner.

It's the 2nd game in a back-to-back in different cities. You're not really expecting a win anyways.

Side note: I know back-to-backs are a fact of life in the NHL, but maybe the schedule makers should find a way to ensure the team playing 2 in a row stays home for both of them. It's one thing to play two games in two nights, but making the team travel between them too? That's just a recipe for failure.

The Leafs were horrible last night. poop happens to all the teams.

I'll be concerned if they put in the same effort tonight.

Habs at home vs. Pitt Saturday night, then @ Boston Sunday. Should be a blast.

I'm expecting a loss, TBH. They've looked bad for at least 3 games now. Too confident in themselves, not trying as hard.

Patch is a good player. You dislike him all you want. To be fair, he fistpumped after he DID roof it as well!!

The Leafs fly on a charter jet. They don't carry their own luggage. NY is only a one hour flight away. They didn't expend much energy last night.

Therefore, they have no excuse in tonights game as far as i'm concerned.

Somebody invited me to the game. I passed. No reason to go to that place if the Habs aren't playing.

The Sens game wasn't bad. Some crazy bounces off of Scrivens. And the Sens make everyone look bad these days. Its the style they play.

Against the Flyers, they played a very good road game, no complaints.

As I said, they sucked badly last night. Totally flat.

No he wont be bringing up Gardiner...keep him in the AHL...time to put liles back in the line up and sit Holzer....guy was horrible last night.
They brought Gardiner up too soon last time, Nonis wont make the same mistake again. He'll keep Gardiner in the AHL until he can be brought up for good.

The style of play is catching up to the leafs...they simply cannot continue it long term.

I wouldn't say he's a different player, he's just being given a chance now.
- Feeling Glucky?

He is a different player. He back checks, plays hard, doesn't make cutesy plays in the neutral zone, limits his turnovers. Every other time the leafs called him up I would think "Man, kids got great skill, I just wish he wouldn't try to deke 4 guys in the neutral zone and turn it over." Now he recognizes when the chance just isn't there and instead of trying to do everything himself, he'll dump it in and go for a change. They have him playing responsibly and picking his spots.

Everything about his game that I disliked Eakins has helped him fix, or greatly improve on.
