reffing has been brutal fair enough but if this turns out to be a game-changing call, you can't blame the refs for costing you the game. Brown could easily have just....not hit Gorges. and the Leafs PK can do their job and make the call a moot point.

boarding penalties have been consistently called similiar to that for years man. i can't believe you've watched hockey before, and are suprised that's a boarding penalty.

i'm a leafs fan. i'm not a habs fan trying to validate it. it was a boarding penalty. 2 minute minor. that's really all there is to it.

I hate to sound like a Vancouver fan, but they've been getting the short end of the stick all season. Maybe it's because they play a really rough game this season, refs always seem to pick on those teams. Scrivens got ran a few minutes before and no one batted an eye. I guess the Leafs are just going to have to get used to this.

I really hope they realize that they made a stupid call on that major and give call a makeup penalty early on in the 2nd. They'll probably just sit around for 15 minutes reassuring eachother though. "No that was the right call, can't let this get out of hand like the last one". Douches.

Not too nice... you have to be a man... that is what women want... they like the look of metrosexuals.. but marry and shag.. men.. that are rough around the edges... so they can fix them.

and Plekanec could have chosen not to slash Orr.. or Patchoretti could have chosen not to grab Grabovski from behind... lots of things happen in the moment. Patchoretti doesn't reach around .. he doesn't get kissed.

Refs can have a definite impact on the mood and tempo of a game. These ones are itchy to keep it from getting out of control... and by behaving that way... it will get out of control.

I'm sort of hoping they limit it to no goals. But that's just me.
