I would think stan has started negotiations with all rfa's and ufa's to get a feel for were they are. His personel decisions i would think would be based on how realistic the players expectations are to what stan thinks their value is

He goes so far to say that perhaps the Caps woes are because of Brouwer's big mouth upsetting the room...yikes. While it may not help their situation, it's low on the list of reasons IMO.

Wow...that proves it, the Sabres have "jumped the shark" for the 2013 season.

You can find the same info I read...K. Hayes suspension was all I searched.

The accusation I read was he stumbled out of a campus party annihilated, decided he couldn't wait, dropped trou, did his business, then passed out with his pants around his ankles....that's how he was later found several feet from his "deposit".

No prank, just stupidity...

I have trouble believing that the ills that Washington had until recently were because of any one player speaking up, or out of turn.

I think that they need being upset.

There coaching staff says they don't know the new system yet, only about 60% ...that they were not playing it instinctively, and guys were playing forms of the systems that both Boudreau and Hunter has established.

They have two big games, tonight and Saturday.

Ovie was praised to the hilt for his efforst last game...and he never took a shot.

I am not trying to bail out Brouwer or doubt that the story you heard doesn't have merit.

But when I look at his numbers compared to other forwards...Not too shabby at all.

Ussually I would agree with you but with this team I'm not so sure. They've said nothing but the right things in the media and have downplayed the streak whenever it has been brought up to them. Sharpie the other night went as far to say that it is just business as usual for the team and that they know what the ultimate goal is in the end. Maybe this is just me believing what they tell me in the media but it really seems like this team has that confidence and drive about them that you need if you are gonna make a deep playoff run. Any other opinions?
