Pierre just wants someone to wrap him up and give him a hug.

(Preferably Crosby)

Indeed, have we come full circle from our bat killing days I wonder? If any fog rolls in I'm burning all my flyers paraphernalia right out in the lawn tonight

I agree with McGuire about Wes McCauley being one of the better refs in the NHL. His dad was one of the all-time best, and I think he's real good, too.

As for VanMassenhoven, I think he's far too often out of position and doesn't hustle. But I will always respect him for not ejecting Marc Bureau after his infamous elbow on Petr Svoboda in 1996, telling Bureau he'd have to answer for it himself when he got out of the box. That was old-school refereeing that you just don't see anymore. Sure enough, later that same game, Craig MacTavish pummeled Bureau in a fight.

Just wish Mass had his ass in shape. When he is in position he's a good ref...too often he's being lazy about getting into position. He'd be great at Walkom's old job

Looked like Gagne shattered his hip on that fall in front of the bench. #FlyersLuck

Yeah, this is the weakest effort I've seen all year.

Gagne, Briere, Timonen, Knuble, Hartnell, Coburn.

This team looks a lot like the 08-09 team minus Richards and Carter. We just need to bring back Andrew Alberts to make it official.

I'm not at the game tonight. Did Voracek not touch the puck at all on the Giroux goal on the opening minute?
