He's not exactly on the hot stove list of players that are brought up in conversation.

I still dont think that makes him under rated. I think the Blues know what they have

What was the offer he proposed? Do tell

I'm all set for tonight with Doc on my right in the NBC SportsNet booth and me to his left (by the laptop). We'll be exchanging "Easter Eggs" in person tonight! Game time is 7:30 EST.

I think there was also an undisclosed pick and I agree...I second the motion of signature

Seems fair, I know he didn't specify but what would the picks and prospect you would want?
- coffee junkie

Solid question. I know nothing about the Bruins farm club or prospects. A pick, I would love to see the Flyers squeeze a second out of them.

I really like Boychuk, he is a 20 minute a night guy who plays physical and a solid skater.

When they say that I don't think they mean the actual team that has him. They usually mean out of town.

Did Severalli write another article or post on twitter or something? He quoted Briere. He didn't write that Briere wouldn't wave his no movement clause. He wrote that the Flyers didn't ask him to.
- mayorofangrytown

They appear to have changed it now, but earlier today the headline of the article was "Briere will not waive NMC". It now says "Briere wants to stay in Philly". There is nothing in the article to support the first headline, which I imagine is why it was changed.

Not sure if it is fair to blame Frank for the headline or not, but the guy is still a d-bag. I met him at one of the games when he came and sat in my son's seat between periods, and then wouldn't get up right away when my son returned. Made him stand there in the aisle while he finished talking to the guy next to him like he was royalty or something.

I like Anderson's blogs, but I think he may have an inflated assessment of Briere due to the 2010 playoffs. We can only hope that the GM's do as well. Th thing with St Louis and Boston is that they have a wealth of top notch defensive minded forwards, and can deploy Briere in strictly PP situations and send him out on offensive zone faceoffs. His average start time in the O zone would be like 75%

I hear that!

I am ok with it as long as the return is of value.

Me too but I would rather send him out west to St Louis if compensation is comparable and of coarse this is assuming he waives his NMC

The guy had potential when he first got the gig, but then he started hanging out with the wrong beat guys.

Yes, I've had the distinct displeasure of bumping into him several times. Dbag covers it.

There are right beat guys?

As soon as his big fat head landed on the stage at CSN whatever level of integrity he had flew out the door in favour of marketing himself as a "personality."

It's been headlines and self agrandizement ever since.

can't see tumblr images here at the office, so I will just assume this is something awesomely humorous...like a guy pouring a beer over Frank's head.

(thus setting myself up for crushing disappointment when I get home and can actually view it. It will take my mind off the crushing disappointment of losing to the Caps and having to listen to all the idiot Cap fans down here).
