So we should trade a center who produces because we don't have enough wingers who produce?

Makes sense.

- TimBits

A center who produces? I assume you mean DD who has had 60 points once, playing 1st line minutes with two goal scorers and is 5'7'' 175 lbs and really isnt all that fast for a small player. I would say you need more than one 60 point season at the age of 26 to be called productive.

(frank) off. He's there because he's the best guy available right now, and he does a heck of a job. Hell, he'd be a good 2nd center on more than hald the teams in the league. Eller is playing well as of late, but his slacking off makes him more of a candidate to be traded than DD in my book. And he'd fetch a better return because he has...

POTENTIAL!

- _nay_

Touched a nerve did I? It's true, the language thing is an issue and trying to say it isn't is even worse. I've already accepted it, especially after last years poop show.

Eller doesn't slack off. He's better defensively than DD, wins more battles, bigger, and yes, more POTENTIAL. We'll trade Eller, and then all you guys will whine about is how small we are and how we need bigger centers like you've done for the last 20 years, while Galchenyuk plays on the wing.

Is it really? He was ranked 20th among all centers in the NHL last year.

Not bad production for a guy who's only in Montréal because he's French.

Moen. (frank) he sucks, and has from the get go.

There's nothing wrong with the 4th line shiner.

Other than cocaine brain, but I think he's learned his lesson.

You want him back on the 2nd line?

He's been exactly what he needs to be.

There's two French Canadians on the team. But I agree, it's a huge problem. Both of them suck.

Well said.

Une réponse typique des ostis d'anglais. Allez toute chier ma gagne de tête carrée.

I can't speak french well, but I can still read it. And you're a (frank)ing idiot, straight up. I'm not against french players if they can help the team win. If DD's 6'2 and hard on the puck, moreso or equal to Eller, this discussion doesn't even happen.

patience....let Galchenyuk develop before you give him too much responsibility. Might take a couple years to get the line up bigger and correct some of our weaknesses. Eller is FINALLY playing better but it's been what....14-15 games? Let's be patient. In the mean time, we have Desharnais who can produce. Is he the solution for the next 5-10 years? Nope.....but he can help while the Habs are developing their young talent. that's all we're saying

Hey, if the Frenchies in Quebec still can access documents in French, it's in part thanks to us translators, so I stand by what I said

Mike Ribeiro is 5th in scoring. Naming DD as a 2nd line C on half the teams in the league is a stretch no matter which way you slice it.

Actually, Bouillon is American. Furthermore, he's part black, so we definetely want nothing to do with him.

Okay, agreed. Maybe I'm rushing, but I think Chucky is something else. I think he can come up, ala Tyler Seguin, and handle more responsibility in his second year opposed to this year. I wasn't saying put him on the second line, I meant make him our third line center. He's never going to learn how to be a Center in the NHL if he doesn't start playing it.

Slot Eller into the 2C and Pleky stays #1 (even though he's an ideal #2).
