6 picks in top 90

- braidan

I'd like to see MB trade some of those picks and etc... to move up to nab Drouin... I know, never happen...

I'm sure teams are jumping on the idea of adding a 5 million dollar winger who's scored 11 goals over the last two seasons.
- TimBits

one more year then he is gone....we'll have to be patient.

Again, where in that post do I say that? Like some people need to learn how to read.

Logjammed does not equal "oozing with talent and depth." It means we have too many natural centers in our lineup right now.

- Saundies

I don't think Eller is that much better than DD. Not even sure he's better at all, but even if he is, the return he'd fetch is not equivalent.

The only centers who don't play wing are DD and Plek, every other center can play wing also.

Unless DD can be replace with a skilled center with size, he will be back because he is producing.

- Symba007

A center with skill and size... I think we might have drafted one of those recently.

Right... We have too many centers.

Eller has done fine on the wing. Galchenyuk can also play on the wing. IMO, not a reason to trade DD.

People just like to trash him for no reason.

So what's the problem with having 3 productive lines?

Habs will be patient with Galchenyuk, let's not put too much pressure on him. A couple years on the 3rd line is perfect to let him get stronger and refine his game.

???? Because I said it was a bad thing, right? Come on buddy, get off your high horse. I meant at the end of the year, I don't expect/want it to happen this year.

My point is that, next year when Galchenyuk has a year under his belt, he will be used at center. This means we will have Plekanec, Eller, Chucky, and White as centers. Where does DD fit in? You tell me, genius.

- Saundies

I'd say he fits in long before, after, and sometimes during Ryan White's press box party. As for the rest, idgaf what you want...

The same Morrow who was on their 4th line for a few games this season? He's washed up. Some stupid GM will throw a lot of cash at Clarkson.

Right now, the only wingers who did not produce as much as we expected were Gionta and Cole.

We do? That's a fact. Yes Eller CAN play wing. Yes Galchenyk CAN play wing. Should they because we want to keep a french guy in the line up? No.

We wanted a big, skilled center. We drafted one.. and now we wanted him to play wing until DD "stops producing." I'm not trashing DD, he's a Hab. I hope he does well because that means the team is doing well. But that doesn't mean that I think he should be part of the plans going forward.

So we should trade a center who produces because we don't have enough wingers who produce?

Makes sense.
