I get this and agree with it. And I know Ryder is a rental as well. But say Habs are still within a reasonable distance of Boston (once they start their actualy season... maybe sometime soon), wouldn't it be worth dealing maybe a 2nd for another rental that could help? More than likely a D so that we can make sure to never play Kaberlol in the playoffs...

I refuse to read too much into this season considering the lockout. A very easy argument could be made that the last 2 cup winners after lockouts are the worst cup winning teams ever. |

I would say that we are going to continue to see teams like this win though. It's the whole idea of the cap world really. Look at the East right now? Who is a favourite? Which line-up can you look at and realistically say: They should come out of the East?
Boston? Maybe...
Pittsburgh? If and only if MAF plays well.
