There's no question he's a good player but not $7M good. 3 70 point seasons, one with 50 goals and an MVP but he doesn't use his size nearly enough. That or, the people in Anaheim do a poopty job of counting his hit totals.

And will nurse that one good season into a MASSIVE contract he will never live up to.

UFA's will get overpaid sadly. Perry might be more of a 6 mil guy, but any team giving him 7 will still look ok like Parise.
