All my son wanted to be sure of, was that Erik could get his number in Dallas. He also asked if Erik would be back with the Habs next year.

probably not..but you never know..but it would have to be soon...but if Subban was included...Ryder would be a throw in for the rest of the season...anyways..probably won't happen..but I'm sure it would be nice for Montreal.
- Garnie

No chance that trade happens.

poopty. I was speaking with the old man and he doesn't like it one bit. Not a huge Cole fan but not a fan of Ryder. I explained the cash and pick to him and he said next year is for next year to worry about. He wants to see another cup before he dies...me too.

That may be a tough one.

I liked Ryder for what he was, but he was a liability in his own zone. Now it's not like Cole is so good there either, so we will have to wait and see. But from what I have seen from Ryder in the last few years, he has improved his all around game and he still has the ability to score.

Really the only thing I see them losing is that crash the net ability of Coles, which is a shame but if he's not doing it and still sulking in the locker room then move on.

If he can help the PP for 29 games, so be it!

have you been following the conversation at all?

Who gives a poop about 18 games,

Cole was Injured until December, was out of shape due to the injury and not being able to train properly

poop happens sometime players are out of shape, and it take longer then 19 games to get in shape and overcome the mental hurdles that come with an injury

You don't trade him just because he is having a slow start in a shortened season that doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things

Since when is having a contract a bad thing

Would you have traded Cole for Cammy? Cammy is doing better then Ryder and brings more to the table

the only plus to the trade is that it was an early salary dump, but it could had been done later and they could have gotten a better return at the deadline when Cole is playing like Cole

- Oilhab

I love how appalled you are with this trade it's worth it for this alone.

According to Oilhab, we won't have the space to sign anyone spectacular. I am not a cap geek and so I honestly am not sure if he is correct or not.
- hscesq

$4.5M Cole, $7.3M Gomez, $4.25M Kaberlol should be more than enough to sign someone...

I think he has a poster of cole on the ceiling above his bed and touches himself on a daily basis hoping that Ciole is the man that brings the cup back in MTL/.
