He was fine. Nothing good, no mistakes really. But did you see the stat I posted? He is in the top four over the last four years, in 5 on 5 goals.

Yes. The more I think about it, the more I like this trade. He seems to be a different player/person than 5 years ago. Was hard to convince myself.

interesting, I didn't remember him being a threat on the PP when he was here last, more of a hang at the blue/red line and look for the break out pass, or the high slot slap the stick on the ice for the one timer guy.

He will score his goals eventually, just don't ask him to do any work.

Give him time to learn his teammates' names and numbers.

He seemed really impressed with Gallagher when he was talking to him after the GWG. Other than that, didn't see too much of him.

I think we are all really impressed with Gallagher, even if he's a DIRTY MIDGET!

It helped that he played on the Bruins for a couple of those years.

I hate how Gallagher gets tossed into the goalie 3 times a period...

He did/does this? He's far from a speedster...not sure why he'd be looking for that pass.

But still, it has happened a lot of times this season that 2 or 3 guys are fighting for the puck in the corner and when they succeed in sending it in the slot, nobody's there. Ryder might help in that regard.

He's at the red line, think to those game of posts, the slow guys hang out at the red line so they have a chance for a break.

but it may had been just the lazyness that every player seemed to have during that last year he was here
