i know the bruins can score but id love to see them without chara for a stretch

the whole pronger thing still kills me. i know he's old but this would be a different flyers team if he was just friggin healthy

- Crimsoninja

pronger also seemed to be the antidote to the devils as well, but...

The truest thing said so far this season... Pronger's injury completely fubared the team's plans.. We miss him on the PP and PK and generally everywhere else.

And adding Gagne costs the Flyers $2,156,566 on the Cap. Not 3.5M

2.1 million for 27 games or less is kinda crazy. I just hope he is able to stay on the ice.

Bryz should have gotten Space Balls on his new helmet instead of Star Wars

It's a 48 game and a 99 day long Season. Everything is amplified in a shortened Season. Daily values are higher then they would normally be. He's still only 32, soon to be 33. If he's healthy, he could find his game and help the Flyers. I don't like giving up a pick. But there is no long term risk.

Not if he's healthy and we've got the cap money to spend. He's a UFA this offseason and you can't carry over cap space.

I think Homer had to make a move with Mcginn going down and Read out long term..

What's done is done. I hope Gagne scores 15 goals. Hate giving up the pick but nothing I can do about it.

Agreed. Someone said the Flyers had two 4th round picks this year, if true I like it even better. The risk is he gets injured quickly, and Holmgren thinks he has to trade more assets to find a replacement.

The extra 4th is fine.. I want them to makethe playoffs, but losing our 3rd doesn't sit well.

csnphilly says that it's Phoenix's 4th we traded so we would still have ours... the only question I have is if we make the playoffs does it become our 3rd?

Gagne left the Flyers two and a half years ago. There are 7 players who were with that team that are current teammates and two of those are Boucher & Leighton

I would check a more reliable source. CSN Philly has Rhesus monkeys working there.

In my defense, I normally do. I'm actually really never guilty of that. This one was a little off because it didn't give me the option to pick a size. Or at least not that I saw, anyway.
