didn't know that.

hope he gets better soon ... really took a couple of hard shots last night.

I think he was kinda of caught off guard by Brown throwing bombs with his left hand. McGinn controlled that fight early, Brown was able to maintain his balance, and then knocked the snot out of McGinn.

#Flyers GM Paul Holmgren announced that (F) Tye McGinn will be out at least 2 weeks with a broken orbital bone

WTF is up with the injuries this team always accrues. Yeah I get that it is hockey but most teams ice a healthy line up every once in a while. This team hasn't for what seems like years. So far off the top of my head (this season): Briere, Hartnell, Mezaros, Simmonds, Read and now McGinn...oh...and Jody (frank)ing Shelley

All of those guys play major roles (or "veteran leadership ) on the team and McGinn has been developing into a solid player. I'd just love to see them have the problem of deciding who needs scratched because everyone is in tip top health.

I will be annoyed if a second round pick is traded for an older rental player.

We have Knuble and Gagne. All we need is Foppa! Wasn't he seen at a game recently?

i've always been a cole fan. he's lost a step or two at this point. he'd have fit right in with the rest of the geriatrics here.

That's the only thing I don't like about this trade.... The odds of Gagne getting hurt are about 99.7%
