Posted the letang for eberle though in oilers thread. They were pretty receptive. Most unwilling to give up more than eberle but it was interesting. Think the trade helps both teams if one of our young guys can be close to letangs production.
I've been bored all day I know this trade never happens but it was entertaining |

What's your take on Kolarik? Is he worth a call up? Better than Boychuk? |

I think so he seems to need talent around him to excel which he doesn't really have here. We scored a lot in CT before we traded for him. I can see him or holzaphel getting a call up if needed this season as forwards. |

I'd do that trade as well. I posted Letang/Boychuk for Eberle/Smid and they would do that. |

Mixed emotions about seeing jordy tonight. Can't be mad at him for wanting a bigger role but the fan in me wants someone to drill him and sutter to grab a hat trick. |

I would like to see Jordan play well, play hard, be tough to play against in a Penguins victory.
Edit: Staal point per game average in Pittsburgh 0.58
With the Canes 0.83
I'll always be a Jordan Staal supporter, the guy can flat out play. |

but we still would like to see Sutter grab the hat trick right?
Staal was a great guy while in Pittsburgh. Nothing but good things to say about the guy. |

What happened to Morrow? - Orpik44
Our team has no offense really. Lots of pieces and solid defense and goal tending, but no offensive weapons. We are way too blue collar. Final score was a result of Zatkoff getting trapped behind the net in the trapazoid and tripping on the lower bar of the net as a late rush came on, fell like Vokoun and as he got up, a cheap ugly puck flickered behind him past his shoulder. Not a loss based on defense, a loss based on no offensive puck control, no crashin the net, too many perimeter shots, and a costly goaltender miscue at the end. Trust me, Morrow is slowly turning into looking like what Paul Martin has become this season. Hopefully it will continue in the NHL. We shall see. |

He could play every game the rest of the year and not give up any goals and I still wouldnt want to see him called up to the Penguins. Just not an NHL goalie. |

At least we have good blue collar players to call up. We already have the skills on the big club. So if you made a comparison for Morrow that would be Paul Martin? Not bad at all.
I'd like to see Zach Sill and Joe Morrow get a chance on the big club next year...and Zatkoff should definitely get a chance if Vokoun does not get back to his normal self. |

I will always be a fan as well and I hope he's a ppg player just not when he Plays us. Hope he turns the puck over and never scores. He was great for us but my loyalty lies with my team 1st and foremost |
