No that's different but Asian none the less. Next question... How much time do you spend on Craig's list? - Cptmjl
Lots of time. Mostly looking for hookers to bring to Ocean Parkway
Apologies for my joke if anyone here is a hooker... |

I'm a big nielsen fan but I'd do it. there needs to be some changes, sucks to say this during a "rebuild" but the environment needs to change. - Cptmjl
I don't know if I'm crazy about that exact deal, but I agree a trade would be good, just to shake things up. I don't want the Isles to blow everything up and sell the farm for some older guy, but I'd be fine with an exchange of young talent, or something like that. Trade one of our top forward prospects for a top D prospect, or trade a young struggling forward who could use a change of scenery for another forward in the same situation on a different team. |

He's been a fine NHL player here, the problem is that he hasn't been a fine top-10 pick. That's where most people's frustration comes in with him. Had we selected him in the 3rd/4th round we'd all be happy with him as the middle-six forward he is.
I'd be OK with moving Nielsen (+) if we were sure (or very confident) we had a guy that could step into the 3rd line center role in the near future. Maybe Nelson if they believe he can be successful as a center. - eichiefs9
Bailey . think about it. Strome as our second line center Bailey as our third and give him half way decent wingers.... Now I'm acting like you guys . In all seriousness having three legitimate centers is a big deal. Roll the lines like Nolan did or even ruff did when they had heir little run. If you could roll four lines |

I never said we should offer a thing for him or give him a penny. I just said that Sherman would hang up on Snow if he offered Okposo, Bailey, and a 2nd. Which he would. - eichiefs9
anyone that is offering more then that should have their head examined

I never thought it would get so bad that we would have to resort to talking about hookers, in a positive light on this board. Did you know that when PA calls a hooker, they pay him ? |

i know a lot on here may think that I have a Milbury mentality but that could'nt be further from the truth. the one thing i can give garth is he drafted and held on to what we have, we can all speculate why but the bottom line is we drafted and we will reep whatever benefits are there. I may not feel those benefits are as good as they should be at this point but I by no means want to trade our prospects for a quick fix. Furthest thing from my mind in fact. The one problem i have is our prospects are NOT as good as some on here think. They just are'nt. Will some turn out? I certainly hope so but let us be realistic about what we got right now. Look at our team and look at our farm depth and tell me this rebuild is going good. You won't, not trying to patronize you but you have way too much hockey smarts for that. We may have some diamonds in the rough but it's not like we are the Oilers who some of our fans compare us too. We are a lot further from the "loop" then most suspect. We are better than we were just because we are'nt shipping kids from Arrows hockey directly to camp like we were in the Milbury days. That's not saying much. Sorry |

Nelson centering Bailey and Cizikas could be a real nice line too - eichiefs9
Sounds great. I'm not one for inserting players that never touched NHL ice but it sounds good. As Islander fans that's what we have to go on. |

Of course they pay him, they're terrified of him. He once uppercutted a horse, thus creating the giraffe. |
