His team left and he choose another one to root for that's fine. You on the other hand if you're a die hard fan you don't jump ship to another team no matter what. If you're a true die hard fan to the bone you would have stuck with the flyers no matter what your circumstances are. I couldn't possibly root for another NHL team like the way I root for the Islanders no matter what. If you're a die hard its in your blood no matter what and you can't just drop your allegiance for another team. So in my book you're not a die hard Islander fan. Just the way I feel nothing personal and I'm sure you won't agree and that's cool
