I'm pretty sure he's just a Nucks fan that just lost a bet or something.
- MaximumBone

Yeah, a harmless Nuck troll. Not a bad one though, likes to have fun and isn't a total douche about it. Usually good for a laugh.

Really starting to wonder whether the AHL head start people were so excited about was a good thing at all. I think it may have A)Let them get comfortable with dominating a lesser level of opposition, B)Gotten them used to a system different from Kruegers and C)Having them start to feel wear right when the rest of the NHL is starting to hit it's stride.
Just wondering..

Good news for Oiler fans next year.. If the re-alignment happens then you can't get 15th in the West! ... In all seriousness, I unlike a few people on here think they played a good game tonight and deserved a bit better fate. The funniest thing I have seen on this thread all night may be the chirps from flames fans. The team is awful! At least you'll have mckinnon at the end of the year! .. Dear Oilers, maybe hire Lindy Ruff and trade for a big centre that can play on the top line. Again I say... Getzlaf

But he doesn't actually do any of those things. He needs to read the Carcillo handbook. If Carcillo had the Oiler fans and players pissed off then he has done his job and the fact that Eager didn't step up at any point shows that he isn't doing his.
- Ben37

Funny thing last night on the broadcast Chicago had move Carcillo up to the top line where as no matter how well eager plays he is on the 3rd-4th line.

Bring in a player like Iginla, Marleau, Selanne, Alfredson... and I think you would see this team flourish. Easier said then done I know... but this is what we are lacking.

We should go after Jagr.

Read this and thought it was about the Isles...lol I think you need to give management a break here..they have an influx of super talent...they need to wait and see who fits best. You have some vets but Smyth is done and done. The players on your team are extremely talennted...I do agree the coach is not making great matchups and decisions....Ruff really could help this young group. Nino would be a perfect fit on this team, the kid can play and he does have size, something you need badly...I'm not saying trade him for Hemsky either....I would love to take Gagner but you need him to bang aorund out there too. The Oilers are gonna be a beast of a team and are so so close..tweek here and there. As an Isle fan I know way to well your frustrations but this team is close...real close.

5. Why do the players with size play without a physical edge?
- Richard Cloutier

Because when your team stinks and is heading for the bottom of the standings year after year it is hard to motivate yourself to sacrifice your body and play hard nosed hockey.

Richard Cloutier: What's Worse: The Coaching, the Players or the Management?
- Maxbone

I have said it before and I will say it AGAIN!! The Edmonton Oilers have the WORST management team in the NHL! They mishandled Omark, Pronger, Souray and the list goes on and on! I honestly think KLowe is a cancer and the entire "old boys" culture needs to be taken out of this city!

They are mishandling PRV and as Richard mentioned giving ice time to player that are not deserving of it! I am FRUSTRATED!

Khabibulin stopped a lot of solid shots from the Hawks. It wasn't that long ago when the Bulin Wall sat between the pipes at the United Center. I think both teams could have scored a lot more goals if not for the solid goaltending on both sides.

Seems like an awful lot of criticism for a team after losing to the Hawks in OT.

High expectations for the consensus 2013 Stanley Cup favourites, anything less than 48-0 is a failure and MUST be scrutinized.

this...I know we're not tearing up the league right now, but the Oilers have been in pretty much every game this year (minus the Sharks home opener)..give the Oilers 2-3 of those games are we're somewhere up in 4th/5th place and everyone is happy...they are 2 points out of a playoff spot, played last nights game without our best player, away and against the best team with the best start to a season ever??..they salvaged a point..it'll come..I do agree with some posters saying we need some bigger bodies up front, have to wait and see at the trade deadline.

would never trade Nino for Gagner.....this team needs to trade players like Gagner,MPJ, Hemsky, and bring in guys with size, and better D-men.
You dont need scoring on all lines, team needs balance on all 4 lines, they are talented, but also small and almost injury prone
