Hemsky would actually be a good fit for Kesler, Kesler really needs a skilled playmaking winger to set him up and create offence for the second line. - Nucker101
And Kassian would sure be good with our kids.
Kassian for Hemsky, done and done. |

So what you are saying is we need Kesler. |

Any you homos watch Californication?
Just grand, one guy telling a girl he'll give her all his 5.9 inches and don't believe what you read because that's on the higher end of the average.
The guys daughter is turning into a whore.
Some widow snorts her husbands ashes and also tells a guy his Richard is too small for the front, but perfect for the back. - Lahey

I have said it before and I will say it AGAIN!! The Edmonton Oilers have the WORST management team in the NHL! They mishandled Omark, Pronger, Souray and the list goes on and on! I honestly think KLowe is a cancer and the entire "old boys" culture needs to be taken out of this city!
They are mishandling PRV and as Richard mentioned giving ice time to player that are not deserving of it! I am FRUSTRATED! - undisputed_8821
i agree the mgmt aint great and needs to change. but not for these reasons.
omark sucks. hes not nhl material. hes a european league type player.
prongers wife wanted out after he banged some reporter. he demanded a trade. what do they do?
souray..meh. maybe abit. but they made a judgment call on a dude who was talkin sh1t to the media. lots of gms wouldve done worse. and hes not great anyway.
prv is coming along. not sure i agree
coach decides ice time. not management.
etc etc |

The thing about PRV is that you cant think of him as a goal scorer. What he is really good at is getting the puck out of our end and creating an offensive zone face off |

Why is David Duchovny having tea with Grannies? It's too outrageous to be a lie, so i would legitimitly like to know. |

The blogger
Your 4 reasons for losing the game are laughable.. wrong players, wrong goalie?
Ha. OK. So Edmonton would be better... if they had Chicago's roster
too small?? look at Montreal
No Taylor hall? Look at Ottawa
These are the weakest excuses I have ever seen
Why not just blame the loss on the real problem.... terrible fans! - conor_smythe
I agree with the uppermost of the post, but that was an uninformed, stupid comment at the end. |

Jeff Petry's lack of poise led to the winning goal. Justin Schultz is great, but Whitney, Petry, Pekham should be upgraded. The Oilers are losing close games because there defense isnt that good. There forwards are playing good, helping out and back checking, just not getting bounces. Trust me, there personel on defense needs to be upgraded. - gunner2233
you clearly never watch oiler games if you think Petry should be traded.
A)Yes, he did get beat by Sharp in OT, but he also scored a short handed goal.
B)Petry is young, and him and smid are the two most solid D men on the team.
If EDM was too upgrade, they should upgrade Nick Schultz. He's good as a #5 d man, but he doesn't belong in the top 4 with J schultz. Honestly, EDM'll need to trade 1 of the big four for a Seabrook type player to play with J Schultz. |

Blog is delusional. The Hawks outshot the Oilers 34-19, including 6-0 in OT. Having played their 3rd game in 4 games it's amazing they were so in control. So they DID pretty much dominate the game.
Khabby? I do believe it's time to give DD the reigns as he has shown signs and he is maybe the future there, but Khabby actually played great last night. Getting 32 of 34 shots, many high quality chances, is doing enough to give your team a chance. Blaming Khabby in anyway for last night's game is laughable. That guy, much as I can't stand him, played his tail off last night.
Hossa's and Kane's goals were great plays by the Blackhawks, winning races to the corner, crashing the net, doing the little things. Stalbergs goal, heh...if you want to say that was soft, go ahead though I don't believe it was, but it's not like your first goal wasn't a can of cheese either. Why no mention of THAT soft goal?
Love Hall, but even with him you guys stink 5 on 5.
I do love the future of your team, but anyone genuinely concerned about objectivity watching last night's game will realize that the Blackhawks play big boy hockey and are several levels above the Oilers right now. Like I said, the future is bright there and I won't be able to say that in a couple years. |

I keep picturing Pat Quinn coaching him on how drive it up the middle and fire a shot on goal. |

Penner got us a first and a prospect. Hemsky would net the same. I just don't see the point, unless it's done at the draft. Moving quality players for futures is pointless at this point. - Lahey
not disputing that he might gain a first... especially now that he is showing he can stay healthy, knock on wood. but not a out of the playoffs first. so... 15th-30th range |
