A rental would mean adding him without losing something.
I just don't like seeing assets leave when they are at such a low point.
Cole is a better all around player when he is playing, and should had gotten more then Ryder and a 3rd if he wasn't out of shape in a season that is a wash anyways

For a guy making 4.5 that look that disinterested, that fat and that slow, Ryder and a 3rd are a steal, it's not even close. |

In all honesty. Good deal for the habs. They gain flexibility in the off season. Cole honestly looked complacent and uninterested this year and they gain a natural goal scorer who will be looking to make an impact and show he belongs.
Personally I'm not a fan of Montreal GM's making moves that make sense.... I want the crazy back 
What happened to the days of signing a bunch of players that were all under 5'7..... those were the days

I wouldn't bother signing anybody. With the cap going down, and the young kids getting better, they would be better to let a young guy take on a bigger role. |
