I cringed when he went down last game. I think he's been one of the better dmen this year.

I know that's not saying much, but it certainly doesn't help our situation to lose him.

I know some people were asking why McNabb hasn't been called up yet. To be honest, I'm glad he hasn't. I want him as far away from this mess as possible for now.

I haven't watched him play since the lockout ended, but I agree. Let him play half the game down there. No need to learn from these "pros" until they get their own stuff figured out.

He's got some skill, but he doesn't make the guys around him better. I think Hodgson does that. He makes his linemates better. It's hard to say that right now because this team is so terrible, but I think he has great chemistry with Vanek and Pommer. They've had a lot of really good chances the last few games, they just haven't been able to bury one.

You would think that they had to ask Ehrhoff about Sulzer and Ehrhoff had to of said something positive for them to get him.

I could care less if Roy was centering the 4th line. I'd put Hodgson between Vanek and Pominville. I hate Roy on that line. I also think putting Hodgson with 42 and 36 would work because he might get some offense out of those two.

He is a bit on the thin side. But I think his skating makes up for it. He's an excellent skater.

Edit: it appears Gragnani just got called up, we will see how he plays in Carolina.

I really have to disagree about Sulzer. He had potted a few goals, but he is incredibly weak around the net and in the corners, and has been a healthy scratch because of it. He looks ok because he has not made the horrible giveaways in fron of the net like the other have, but he and Hoff have a nack for getting pinned on their own end lately
