I didn't think we saw anything from Grigo after his 5 games to have him stick.. I wasn't surprised that he did stick.. but what doesn't make sense.. is not only burning a year of his ELC on a 48 game season but then sitting him for multiple games.... that is using a whole year's contract on maybe 35-40 games.

I think that it is time to break up Vanek - Hodge - Pommer as well.. they aren't scoring anything compared to waht they were and it is evident that they can't play a lick of defense together... They are probably a combined -20 in the last 7 games. HORRIBLE on defense.. just HORRIBLE!

He should have stayed down. Generally speaking, everyone wanted him to play up here. If that was going to happen he should be playing up here. Makes me think it wasn't Lindy's decision. If it was, he has poor decison making abilities. Especially since Stafford has yet to sit, and Hecht was playing near 20 min.

I said this yesterday. Before a couple of weeks ago, the atmosphere is just lame. Now, it's completely toxic. The product has something to do with it, but (with the exception of this year), there were worse teams that didn't have this problem.

The emphasis on the "family atmosphere" killed the idea that this is a difficult place to play.
