Jones, mackinnon, drouin, barkov, etc

Giroux is a very good comparison for Drouin. Shifty, good speed, great IQ, can score and set up goals equally as pretty

Jones has been compared to our very own Tyler Myers, Jones is definitely more physical and is quicker with the puck. Jones is a huge, dynamic, Offensively talented defenseman with shutdown potential.

Mackinnon, not buying into all his hype. He's no Crosby, he'll be better than Tavares though IMO, Comparable to Stamkos. Probably not going to be a center in the NHL, terrible at faceoffs ect.

Barkov has the size, skill, smarts. Dekes like Datsyuk, and steals the puck like him. Datsyuk is a good comparable for Barkov, good two way center.

I stayed away from anyone in a Sabres uni.

The Sabres are deeper with young D than skilled forwards. If the Sabres continue to tank, I hope they draft MacKinnon or Drouin if possible. If they draft Jones, they'll be stronger on D but will still be a one line team, if they're even that.

I subscribe to the theory that you take the best pick possible. If you base it on need, then you're doing yourself more harm than good.

Yes, there are some young guys in the system, but when a guy like Jones comes along, it's hard to pass on them.

That being said, I'd be ok with any of the 3, though I think I'd go Jones, Drouin, MacKinnon.
