None of these young players will help this team, it will be a few years before they do if not longer. We will be sitting in the same position next year saying the same crap on this blog, "We want a top 5 pick". I can care less who they draft because it won't help.

While I do think unrealistic expectations were put on the kid coming into the season, I have to question the coaching staff and management when they keep him in the NHL burning a year on his ELC and then turn around and say "He's got a ways to go to be a regular NHLer".

This is hurting his development, he should have been down in junior tearing it up, working on his game, and gaining confidence.

Draft picks and young players take time so if that's the case they should start trading away players and start over because it's going to take awhile. Darcy is obvious he will be gone we all can see that, this team will not improve this year. Rolston is overwhelmed and lost. 2 games or not he's lost.
