I think he is too small and not quick enough to make up for that lack of size. I would package him in a deal with no hesitation.. I feel the same about Sundher too. - JVince11
He's small, but not really small...
5'10, 191lbs
That's not bad...
And he is fast, really good skater
I'm starting to really like him
He plays with heart & intensity like gerbe, but at 5inches taller is actually NHL size
He'll need 2 years in Rochester, but I think he'll be a guy Sabres fans end up loving

he does, most of the players do not - homiedclown
right, whic his why i was upset when ruff got fired (although i expected it) because i would trade 20 of 23 players on the team before i would fire the captain because at least i knew if we had the right squad he would give it his all to take us to where we wanted to go.
Sign me up... I'll take Dustin Brown back to Buffalo... - JVince11
Homer said they'd trade him to us for Pominville
Not tht I wanna lose Pommer, but this team needs a shakeup
Brown is a smaller cap hit and younger...
At this point i think I'd do it, but I'm also a huge fan of Brown so I'm biased when it comes to it

I would do that trade as well.. and maybe just based on Brown being a better captain than Pommer too.....
He is more well rounded them Pommer but doesn't score as many points.... This team needs more scorers.

Buddy you're so funny. Just having some fun.
Obivously that superstitious, super fan crap doesn't do anything. All of western NY was behind this 110% and what did we get? Last place. Besides defacing? This roster is defacing the logo eveytime they play. Not me. - Buffalo--Sabres
yeah it probably is just having fun but buffalo is so miserable sometimes that it's hard to tell when people are telling a joke and just constantly stewing with negativity and rage.

This would be the definition of a shake-up. Maybe not all the Sabres would do, but certainly could be a very nice move. I think it would benefit both teams as well. On the surface it would appear as though the Kings have too many cooks in the kitchen when it comes to leadership whereas the Sabres don't have enough. Win/win.

Do we need more scorers though?
Brown will score around 25goals...
Even if u think pominville is a 35goal scorer that not a huge drop off
And it won't be long (IMO) until Grigorenko gets put in a more offensive role & starts scoring... And Armia is a 30goal guy that'll be here sooner than later
Even guys like Hodgson, Ennis & Foligno I expect to get better & more consistent
Also, if we can stabilize our defense somehow & get the freaking puck out of our own end that should help scoring too since we'll be able to attack instead of playing on our heals

And as much as we'd all rather trade Stafford +, that just won't be a deal the Kings would accept unless they're crazy

Since we can't score as it is I would say we need more scorers, we don't have any clue if Armia can score 30 in the NHL.
