i'm not sure how it works...now that he's played enough games that he's burnt a year of his ELC, can he be sent to the AHL, or would he still need to be sent back to jr? i think at this point, sending him back to jr is a waste, with almost half the NHL season done, and more than half the jr season done....but if they can send him to the AHL, that might be something they should consider.

Kid is lost and a "sit down " won't help now. Our new coach is lost as well and I don't care if it's 2 games or 22 games, he's lost. He is to overwhelmed

While I do think unrealistic expectations were put on the kid coming into the season, I have to question the coaching staff and management when they keep him in the NHL burning a year on his ELC and then turn around and say "He's got a ways to go to be a regular NHLer".

This is hurting his development, he should have been down in junior tearing it up, working on his game, and gaining confidence.

Who cares who plays D, we still suck. Rolston is lost and it doesn't matter because him and Darcy will be gone at the end of the year. Now they have really ruined Grigo his confidence should be all but shot by now. What a complete disaster this team is, like they said on Hot Stove Saturday night "nobody on the Sabres cares" something to that effect.

None of these young players will help this team, it will be a few years before they do if not longer. We will be sitting in the same position next year saying the same crap on this blog, "We want a top 5 pick". I can care less who they draft because it won't help.
