I'd want Seabrook for Miller from CHI
D.Brown + from LA for Pommer
Kronwall + Howard from DET for Vanek
Maybe that LA trade works for both teams
I don't really see Chicago willing to trade their best defenseman, they might do something like Hjalmarsson + Crawford, but if that's the best we'd get I'd try to move Miller somewhere else
Detroit is hurting for defensemen, so why they'd give us Kronwall is beyond me, but that's who I'd want... And I put Howard in there bc trading Miller woul leave us w no one in net, but Deteoit wouldn't have a goalie then, so that won't happen
I don't know that Chicago & Detroit would be the best trade partners - jdfitz77

You're sick of the "earn it" BS?
Fine, you tell Ennis or Hodgson that they are demoted to the 3rd line based on nothing but some fans' desire to give some 18 year old great white hype their minutes of ice time, even though Hodge and Enzo have played their asses off. That's a joke.
You tell me what Grigorenko has shown you, that you would would put him in a top 6 role.
The kid has done nothing. Never mind that he has played with just grinders. He played with Ott quite a bit to start the season. Ott has skill. The kid still showed us nothing. Maybe he had a flashy move once in a blue moon. So we should just all bow down to the legend of Grigo?
He isn't ready. Face it.
The pace of the game is too much for him. He looks slow and he looks timid (he is 6"3". He shouldn't be timid). He never wins a battle along the boards, EVER. He looks like he's terrified of making a mistake.
You are enamored with what Grigs COULD be, not what he currently is.
Is all of this his fault? No. Am I denying he has talent? No.
But at the very least he has to show his coaches that he wants to be there. He needs to skate his ass off, use his big frame and win a damn battle once in a while. - Powerslave
Could all have been avoided if the rules would have just allowed Grigorenko to play in the AHL.
I hear you on every thing you just said... I really do... I think that Pommer is not a Captain.. but he is a very good veteran to have around.. A lot of the heat against pommer is that he is not a good captain.. well lets take that out of the equation for a second... he is an all around player.. he is a PK'er.. and he can put up 60+ points every season... He doesn't get hurt often.. he doesn't complain or make waves in the media... - JVince11
A few of these are a must, just look at Ottawa's turn around (Before getting hit with the biggest injury bad Karma ever) They dealt or let go most of the vets and went with some younger guys and they were on the right track. I think you move Miller for sure as well as Stafford then try to get some return on Robyn Regehr, Gerbe, Hecht, Leino, Leopold, & Sulzer if possible and see where the dust settles. Keeping Vanek & Pominville are not going to kill you.

They've played their asses off and what's the result? 15th place in the conference. I'm sick of hearing about how hard people try or don't try. It should always be about results. Winning is all that matters. That's part of the entire problem. People in this town are enamored by effort moreso than they are with winning, especially the people that make decisions. That's exactly why we have zero championships. It's a loser mentality.
And they don't need to demote any center to put Grigorenko with guys of his skillset. They could put him on the wing, or move Ennis to a wing. This team is allowed to be creative. Putting a guy like Grigorenko with two grinders with limited offensive ability is setting the guy up for failure. The tunnel vision when it comes to things like this is mindboggling. What's are they scared of? Losing games?
I'm not enamored with Grigorenko. He should have been sent back down to juniors. However, he wasn't. He's stuck here. So, you need to use in him in a way that best helps your team. I refuse to believe that's between two guys with cinder blocks as skates. It was the same problem with Afinogenov. Anyone with an IQ of 16 could see that putting him with 2 guys (Ellis and Mair) that could barely skate made both himself and his linemates a liability. It's a complete misuse of resources.

Or she is getting primed to do things that she really loves to do, and most girls won't, and she knows it, and he knows it... otherwise she wouldn't be anywhere near there.

If the Rangers continue a poor swing, and Torts is a casualty. I hope to God the Sabres pounce on him, only to see him go toe to toe with Bucky Gleason every night.

I couldn't disagree more. Girgorenko has not been put into a position to succeed. Give him some time on the PP. Let him play with Vanek. Put him on a wing for now. Let Pomminville play with Hecht and ott. That would be a good line for us. Pomminville and Hecht have had some success together.
