None off 9 near you? That stinks.
- Flyskippy

The one is Rio is close to work, where Rt 9 & 47 meet. The other is at a gas station where Sea Isle Blvd & Rt 9 meet.

Depends on what the alternatives are. I would rather have young guys with upside, opposed to guys like Gervais and Fedetenko.
- PLindbergh31

I wouldn't. You're not looking for Fedetneko and Gervais for the future. You're signing them to be veteran and experienced depth on the team. That isn't a spot or a role for either player you mentioned.

There used to be a steak sandwich joint, on Marlton Pike right on the Camden/Pennsauken border that made EXCELLENT B'fast sammiches.

Long sub roll, loaded with eggs and bacon, I miss that place.

It was cheap, too. Got the sandwich and a big cup of Joe for under $4 at the time, which admitted was 12 years ago

I laughed my ass off at that scene until I had a daughter.
- Jsaquella

None of Kevin Smith's movies are kid friendly. That scene is still funny. I just hope theuy didn't actually do that part with a kid there or for that fact a woman.

Same with that place in Court House, and that's been about 25 years. And they made excellent coffee.

I was thinking of the area of 9 heading toward the ferry where Ames used to be & McDonald's still is. Swore there was 1 there but it's been awhile since I've been down there.

Nope, nothing there. There was a place called Donut Connection near there, on Bayshore Rd, but it's gone belly up. The Super Wawa killed it

I had a pepper and egg sandwich at John's Roast Pork on 3rd and Snyder on a Saturday morning recently and I could swear the sun came out and birds were singing while I was eating the sandwich, it was so good.

Did you ever hear about his obsession with Degrassi Junior High?

So he loved watching it growing up - great.

So he eventually positions himself to write and direct a few episodes of Degrassi: the Next Generation.

And then he writes in to the script a scene where he gets to make out with one of the original characters that he had a crush on when he was growing up.

I can't tell if that's smart or creepy, but I'm guessing it's probably both.

Super Wawa is like the Borg.

They just put one on 70 in Cherry Hill about a year ago and I'd be stunned if it doesn't kill at least one of the seemingly 10 Dunkin Donuts along Route 70.

I think the printers was on Colonial Avenue - big factory-like building (had to go to Google Earth) - and the deli was in the block to the north. So, near Mechanic St, but not that close.

Someone gave that Degrassi DVD with Kevin and Jay Mewes in the episodes. It was a nice thought (big fan of Smith's work), but if the DVD wasn't autographed, I'd have probably sold it to the used DVD place near me.

Ran errands all weekend. Recap of the last 48 hours, please.
- Flyskippy

Going back 48 hrs would start us at 8 am sat morning.....I was just waking up taking a shower and driving from austin texas to Houston....a 3 hour drive , a three hour drive the weather starting getting rough the tiny ship was tossed but let do this right

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
A tale of a fateful trip
That started from this philly port
Aboard this tiny arena.

The mate was a mighty hockey man,
The skipper brave and sure.
Five fans set sail that day
For a three hour tour, a three hour tour.

The game started getting rough,
The tiny arena was tossed,
If not for the courage of the fearless team
The fans would be lost, the fans would be lost.

The tean set ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle
With Ilya
The Skipper too,
The scheen and his bother,
The movie star- giroux
The hartnell
Here on flyer Isle.

So this is the talel of the castways,
They're here for a long, long time,
They'll have to make the best of things,
It's an uphill climb.

The first mate and the Skipper too,
Will do their very best,
To make the others comfortable,
In the wells fargo

No defense, not a single #1
Not a single luxury,
Like Robinson Crusoe,
As primative as can be.

So join us here each game my freinds,
You're sure to get a smile,
From seven stranded castways,
Here on "Flyers Isle."

Ok so that took us to about 4-5pm sat......I'll get back with the rest of thev36 hours.....I need to work.
