It's almost certainly an AHL only move. They needed a center on the Phantoms

He's young had a decent whl career

Marcus Ragnarsson did, that's why he tried to cripple him

I was at that practice with M4. Thankfully, he doesn't remember it. I can still hear the bone breaking.

The Flyers spend way too much time in their own zone.

Slow starters. Should get it going soon enough.

Solid point.

The only one I would be interested in is Backstrom (this summer). I understand the notion of giving Bryzgalov one more season if we see inconsistent hockey the rest of the way, I just dont really like a culture of inconsistent goaltending. I dont think its good for a team.

For now its all peeing in the wind. Nobody knows what will happen. Lots of hockey left, I do hope Bryzgalov is that guy. He has shown he can be. We will see.

I'd have interest in all 3, but IMO none of them are a sure thing. Howard can be as streaky as Bryz. Backstrom is older and has had injury issues. Smith played great behind the Tippett system, but he's also had injury troubles.

The one benefit might be getting one of them for less years than Bryz has left

Bryz is tired AND lonely. They are just trying to make him feel better.

L. Schenn had a ton of space and time, he's gotta do better than shooting the puck into MacArthur there.

Not me, personally, but our media (whom are disconnected from the fans, with rare exception) would.

Pannacchio would be a pretty good reporter if he would just the time to learn the rules, history and culture of the game.

And improved his actual writing, of course.

Does San Philipo still cover the Flyers? God, he had no idea what he was writing on Hockeybuzz.

I dont blame Laviolette for too much. The slow starts however are becoming a pattern and have been for a while.

That is unnaceptable.

Get skating.

So does anyone know about this wahl guy??
- griouxmvp2012

I looked him up. He's playing in the ECHL. He's a skill guy with good size. Was taken in the second round. Apparently he took a blow to the head that broke his nose and cheek bones his first year in the AHL, 2010 and only came back for 6 games before wrapping it up. He hasn't been the same player since.

He was projected to be a two way centre.

Pinocchio would be a good reporter if he stopped trying to be the story. The day he realizes no one gives a poop about him is the day he might actually become a good reporter.

If the Leafs are making it hard to get to the middle of the ice.

Then use the points and blast away.

They are a much improved team. Carlyle has them headed in the right direction for sure.

I like Backstrom because I think the team may be able to get him short term. He can carry a team at times and is usually solid.

Smith scares the poop out of me I dont know why. I like the puck moving aspect of his game but thats about where it ends. Howard I dont believe in.

Just for poops and giggles, if they really wanted someone, a guy like Hiller would probably be available via trade.

You realise what they are doing right?

Classic devils BS of putting the team to sleep and scoring on the couple of chances they might get.
