Everyone's played a compressed schedule so far, but the Flyers has been the worst. As other teams play more back to backs, especially with the wear and tear, it's entirely possible that a lot of those teams bled points like the Flyers have.

He's hurt. Kinda hard to blame him - he shouldn't be out there in key situations - or really in any situations at the moment, imho.

Funny thing: the coach accepted responsibility for the loss - says he should have called a time out and had his best players out there.

I love to see the trades proposal people create on there. Apparently there were some people saying that the only player they'd be ok with getting in a deal with the Bruins involving Briere would be Chara.

Dear God.. I hate it when bored Eagles fans talk hockey. Are they also saying that they would rather say Dan Boyle rather than Timonen cause he's a foreigner? The irony when they can't even get Dan Boyle's name correctly unless there are two on the team??lol

It's jus so ridiculous here, as it is in Toronto. We had a beat writer tweet that Bryzgalov wasn't talking after a game where he got pulled, and his co-worker tweeted that you had to be a "standup guy" to make it in Philly...and this is a beatwriter that blocks anyone who disagrees with him on twitter.

Meanwhile, Bryz did talk to the media that night, the original tweet came before he was available.

Seriously, I was huge Carter fan and supporter of his play when he was here. And I love the trade! How can you not like it? Carter is a very good player. But Voracek is turning into a pretty good player in his own right. And wait until Couturier grows up a little. It's really looks like a no brainer right now.

Doug MacLean, the guy who was so inept at his job he managed to have as many top 5 picks as the Penguins and land all of one impact player with them?

I've hated him since he complained about teams in major junior using the trap, after he used it to get the 1996 Panthers to the SCF.
