Thanks.

It's been good day or two, followed by a not so good one. The blinding headaches are not as bad. Still worried about the dizzy spells/vertigo, because that's what's keeping me out.

Some have made valid points that they look and play like a poorly coached team so far. They are still a young team in many ways. I'm hopeful that a few good practices and some video time helps this as they start to get a few days off in a row here and there.

Imagine what Boston has to look forward to? They have played 5 less games. Over an 82 game season that isnt so bad, but in this compressed schedule....wowza.

If you throw out the Flyers non back to backs, they have 3 fewer games played than the Bruins. That's ridiculous. Flyers have played 4 more B2B's than Boston so far

Seriously, I think they make it. They had the most brutal schedule in the league and have managed to hold on so far. Other teams schedules will be increasing in brutality as theirs decreases.

I am hopeful. They even have a 6 day break coming up in March. They will have time to get some days off and get some REAL practices in.

Who is with me on the positive bandwagon?

- MBFlyerfan

It's possible, of course, but I wouldn't bet money on it. They've dug quite a hole and everyone has games in hand on them.

Things seem to be starting to turn around with the exception of the Florida game. Let's hope the can keep on this path.

Everyone's played a compressed schedule so far, but the Flyers has been the worst. As other teams play more back to backs, especially with the wear and tear, it's entirely possible that a lot of those teams bled points like the Flyers have.

Yep. That was a terrible game. Currently 1-3-1 against the three teams at the bottom of the conference. Florida, Buffalo, Washington. Have to make hay against the bad teams.

Yep, the schedule has been almost sadistic. 9 btb's in total I believe by the time they are done?

That is a lot even for "young legs". The mental aspect of it cant be under estimated, and that is where I think the youth of this team works against them.

Seemed like last year, the Flyers beat the teams they should beat most of the time (don't know the actual stats).

Not to mention, the coach seems to have very little confidence in the backup goaltenders. That is a big factor at play here as well.

Nachos! I couldn't keep anything down through my vertigo. Couldn't exercise, but then again, couldn't eat without wanting to throw it all up. Finally I just stopped eating because the thought of food make me ill.

Post concussion syndrome, from breaking out of jail.
- Jsaquella

Sorry to hear about the concussion, but I'm glad you are out of jail.

The charges were BS: how were you to know the sheep was underage?

The exercise is the worst, nothing brings on the headaches like exertion. I try to walk a mile or two a day, but I've also had a cold for the past week or so.

But food...no problems there

For once my liberal ass is riding the same bandwagon as your conservative ass!

Plus Donnellon wrote an article saying how he is betting against them...and he is a dumbass...so I think that has to be a sign in their favor.

The nice thing about that break, aside from rest, is that it will allow some of those games in hand the other teams have to be burned and it will give the Flyers a better picture of exactly where they stand.
