But if we do have to move him wouldn't be a bad choice but II think weiss when playing like we know he can brings so much to this team i worry about losing him.

Honestly, I want Weiss resigned! Has anyone ever considered that maybe Weiss is playing injuried as well as having his grandmother on his mind the past month? Say what you will, he is only human and we've all lost someone close to us or knew someone close was headed down that path and it does take a toll mentally. I think many are pinning our record and season on the play of Weiss and I don't think that's fair. He's been here a very long time and is having his first bad season, I think he should get a pass. Also, Versteeg and Bergy are out with injury and they are a big part of our offense. If you add those two players, we instantly have three scoring lines.

I want to wait. I want to resign Weiss. He is our leader. He is the face of the franchise. I am calling this season a loss,but I am actually okay with it. We have a lot of prospects with a ton of potential and I am okay with adding a top draft pick from this years' crop and then adding and subtracting players in the offseason to better the team.

I agree with you I think the only reason these rumors are really coming out is because of all the talent coming up now with shore being amazing we are stacked at center. Weiss just looks like the odd man out but that will all change once he picks up his play.

No reason to throw the towel in yet! This team has looked poorly and flat at times,w tih some really bad luck here and there, yet they are only 3 points out of 1st place. This is a weak division, Washington is playing poor and Carolina is riddled with injury. A couple more wins and they can sneak into 1st. They do that and maybe it lifts spirits and they play well enough to make another playoff appearence. Don't give up yet!
