Miller is gone unless the Sabres significantly overpay him.
- RynoBull

so 6.25 mil a year would keep him here?

worked last time..

i am thinking we can find a younger cheaper goalie that doesn't whine all the time and allows us to spend more money on defense or offense.

Because the kid hasn't done sh!t, Garth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He hasn't earned top-six anything. He looks slow, timid and hasn't won one damn battle along the boards.

Watch Yakupov, Galchenyuk and a whole bevy of other rookies, and you'll see confidence, speed through the neutral zone, and a willingness to battle for pucks.

Grigo has shown NONE OF THAT. ZERO. ZILCH.

Stop drooling over this kid until he actually shows he has a set of stones. Until then, it's all just hype and promise.

I'm tired of the "earn it" BS. The other difference between Grigorenko and the others is that they're actually playing with guys that fit their skillset. Meanwhile in Buffalo, we sit here and see that he can't make a pair of grinders awesome, and decide he has no drive or desire. It's stupid.

yeah, put max with ellis and mair

wonder why max is in the other end one on 4 and the grinders have yet to cross center ice

problem is, IMO w/o Leino there is no chance to give him 2 descent wingers on the third line

who is our fastest skater in rochester?

that and they weren't forced to play outside of their comfort zone with ruff then had their confidence ripped out and danced on..

Whine all the time?
But if Pominville or Vanek say the same things that would be considered them being 'leaders'?
I think there is just some deep seeded hate for Miller here with some of the fan base that blinds some. IMO
How much more lettuce would you like this franchise to spend when they already I believe have the highest payroll to the cap in the league?
Millers money is well spent. IMO and many others, it's the team in front of him.
The problem is the team in front of Miller and that money is spent on the wrong players and wrong areas.
Problem isn't Miller nor his leadership qualities, it's Darcy.
It's been Darcy all along. Darcy is the chef that made the sauce , the sauce is some of the worse I have ever tasted.

Griess and trade for a RFA like bishop, holtby, jake allen and i don't think we see any drop in goaltender stats.

Enroth was good two years ago when he basically played in Rochester and was called up for every start, and then sent back down (i.e. he played more often than he sat). At this point, I say play him and see if he can work himself out of his funk. It's not like they're at risk of losing at a faster rate than they already are.

very true.. but you can't make them better without doing something.. Miller has value and could get us some good chips for the future. you some deep seeded love for miller that doesn't let you look beyond him. he isn't going to win here with this roser and he is one of the few players that has value. you aren't goign to get anything that will help a rebuild out of anyone other than him pommer and vanek.

With you for trading Miller for the reason of feeling bad for him and his value.
I'd like to see Miller with a winner for sure!

This. Gotta play mostly in road games. You know paying ticket holders at home don't want to see Enroth twice a week.

I would call DET and see about Jimmy Howard for Miller. I wouldn't give him away but Howard is not a huge drop off and won't cost you as much. Maybe get Howard and another higer pick.

thought he was implying 6.25 was overpaying

to me miller isn't worth it now and won't be on his next contract
