This picture is a keeper. It appears to be a forward knocked down in front of the Isles net. We may never see this again.

Is Radek checking his watch? Does he have a date?

I just picked up Cory Conacher off waivers and Kyle Turris via F Agency. Lord Stanley will be MINE!

He's physically elite and a real good finisher but his skating is notably bad. Bad skating rarely thrives in this league. I see him as a more skilled, slightly less physical Matt Martin.

Hopefully he can work on his skating. With huge teams like Boston the Isles will need all the size they can get. I hope the Isles make an honest effort to sign Lee.

First bolded point: I carried very little opinion at the time other than surprise, like most. I definitely didn't take the attitude that no one should be a GM without front office experience. Living in the Philly area I watched Bobby Clarke retire in 1984 and take the Philadelphia Flyers to the Stanley cup 2 of the next three years as their GM. Long before Garth was named to the job and I thought he was a witty guy and new he had a decent educational background. On the yahoo messageboards I made the arguement that as an NHL goaltender, Snow could likely scout present NHL talent as well as anyone else, provided he had a natural eye for it. So other than the media perception and reaction, I had very little. I know I DIDN'T like the Neil Smith hiring prior.

As for Wang receiving credit, that point should be obvious. Wang is merely the holder of purse strings. Therefore I can only give him credit for allowing Garth to spend the money but blame Wang for not allowing Garth to spend ENOUGH money. I seriously doubt Wang had anything to do with finding Grabner or Moulson. The only credit he gets is for ponying up the dough to sign them, which is mandatory by the cap floor. So in the end, I have to credit Snow for finding bargain bin deals since he's operating on a bargain bin budget.

Bobby Clarke/Garth Snow? Maybe not the best analogy? I liked the Neil Smith signing. he had a resume, he won a cup, and he had a reason to succeed. All elements for success. Good for you being non judgemental with the Snow signing, you were the ONLY person on the planet. I thought it was an insane move just like every other person(besides you again, sorry)but you know what? I gave Snow the benefit of the doubt with his "rebuild". Still waiting for some results? Something? and waiting... This team took enough chances with people with no experience, how'd that work out? It was nice to know no matter how brief that we had a notable, respected person running the show(Smith). People took notice when Smith was hired. The he was fired and Snow was hired and people took notice again but for the wrong reasons. Kudos to you though for not judging him.

Isles' Tavares (13) and Moulson (10) are first & only teammates to hit double-digits in goals. They've combined for 41% of Isles' output.

I thought it was 71% lol jk.

The fact that its 41% is OUTRAGEOUS. Almost half the goals scored are by 2 players outa 18 skaters...
