No question the 'depth' has been outstanding...but the PK has been nearly BULLET PROOF. - philco28
Yes - didn't mean to slight it or the defense in general - IMO, the main reason for the streak, an important reason for the re-birth of Crawford and Emery.

STL...we could all write books on what, who, why this team's off to such a terrific start. And every argument would be compelling no doubt.

He doesn't because it's a useful rebuttal vs all the nuckTARDs who whine over here. - philco28
I've been reading threw your comments the past 2 days most of the comments you guys make you manage to take a jab at the canucks somehow, I don't blame them.

Read the post game comments following the Hawks win over Vanc. You'll get it. A bunch of those guys from Nuckland are irritating.

Can't speak for everyone, but i rarely, almost NEVER go on any other team's board to beak off. And any clown coming over here to chirp deserves whatever they get.

Agreed, I don't waste my time elsewhere. I'd rather walk with fellow travelers than nip the heels of adversaries...I take no pleasure in it.
Plus the Red Wings had 2 goals disallowed. - scottak
Wings still have enough skilled players that they hand it to somebody on a game by game basis. Just not convinced they have enough of a talented supporting cast and the Dmen to do much over the course of a season though.
Could be you didn't mean what I inferred from your post. Like I said, homerism is all relative.
Hard to really be a homer when many fans of your team accuse you of "hating" your team.
Tell ya what, bud, other than calling Hansen dirty for the Hossa hit, what's your other "evidence" of my being a homer? Oh, saying Daniel might have at least invited retribution for a shoulder to jaw, blind hit on Keith (it's on tape)? Well, then Al Cimaglia of NHL Radio and Keith Jones (to name two) are homers, too, because they saw it the same way.
Or am I a homer for saying Shaw's hit was "dumb" and blind side?
Which is it? Enlighten me with something more detailed and supported than "our guy's a homer and yours is too." - John Jaeckel
No, you're misunderstanding something here. My point was simply this: all team Bloggers are 'homers'. On HB, the term 'homer' has become a negative term and used to run people down (their points of view). I'm saying that it is a stupid term in the first place and that actually being a homer means you cheer for the team you write (mainly) about. All fans are homers, all team bloggers are homers -- I know...it's simplistic. So am I, I guess, on this. I am making absolutely no reference to Hansen or Shaw on this (your POV on them is fine ). I don't see it as a negative that you like Chicago and not the Canucks. I see that as the way it should be (well, you don't actually have to hate the Canucks -- although after last night's debacle, there's not much to like!), just as I should prefer the Canucks since I am a fan of theirs. Sorry, I don't mean to drag this out.
