then again Phil I think it will be Emery but how do you sit a guy who just had a shut out though Im sure its been done before..maybe, with the time he's missed Q will throw him back out there tomorrow..they way theyre both playing I dont care who gets the net..I just worry about the PP..
Best I've seen Mason play in a couple of years at least. Good for him, he's a really good kid - John Jaeckel
Mason had a strong game. He looks much better than he did last year. The Jackets don't look bad either. I heard on the broadcast they have 3 first round draft choices next season so maybe they can turn things around. They gave the Hawks a tough game tonight.
Wiz==a very expensive sack of sh!!!tt on ice...i remember when they signed this tool to the big money=they were out of there minds. He a complete bust and a dirty one at that

To summarize...PK helped win the game while the PP tried to lose it. - ArlingtonRob

Crow was great tonight...with Razor playing so well, i'd throw him in and let Corey savor the win and rest up for St. Loo...just me though...they're both playing so well so it's all good whoever it is.
Craw with 2 shut outs in his last 3 gmes...and a 1-0 after being out over a week?...after no shutouts for over 1.5 seasons! Hockey is a weird gme indeed!
Mason was really good..best he has looked vs the Hwks in a very long time!
And of course shooter hit a post!!
And as usual the NHL refs were watching another gme!!

NHL refs look like NBA refs. Call the ticky tack crap, ignore the obvious hacks.

THIS is what I'm talking about -- when they even out the TOI for the D, this club is really hard to beat. It's 1a, 1b, 1c -- not 1, 2 & 3 pairings. No way Montador cracks this lineup, at least not on D. Love the way Rozsival works as a pair with Leddy, guy has some snarl and is good with the puck.
These guys are playing for one another, they are doing what it takes. Great to see, the only big problem IMO is that PP. Too much standing around, not enough movement to draw PK'ers out of position. No style points for passing around the perimeter.
Also like to see the boys working on the dump and chase -- if they can neutralize teams trying to clog up the middle by getting the puck deep and using their speed and their nose for the puck (#1 in takeaways and not hard to see why), it might make some teams think twice about using this to gum up the Hawks offense.
completely off topic here but I read earlier that the Flames are moving their AHL affiliate from Abbotsford BC to Utica NY..this article mentions how it would make sense for the Canucks to move from Chicago to Abbotsford...dont have a clue as to length of contracts but if all that were to happen it would be nice to see the Hawks move the Hogs into the Allstate Arena..just throwing it out there..
The more I think about it, play Craw tomorrow and let Ray handle St. Lou. I would want Ray in the more physical game. You never know, in a Chi-St.Lou game a goalie brawl could break out.
