Look at the bright side... Playoff games are only 24 minutes in length.

I guess we will never get a 60 min effort....look at the bright side: most teams are not playing 60 min hockey, Philly, NJ and NYR included

Wish the team would post it online or YouTube. I want to see it but he's never scored when I've been there.

They'll have it on the site very soon. They usually put highlights up. You can find them under the game calendar on there I think.

So, Nic Johnson with his fourth goal of the year for the Coyotes. Seems to have found a spot there.

That's ok, let's just not turn this into an 11 month saga like Crosby's mishandling. Malkin will be back eventually this year. No symptoms is a good thing, obviously the memory loss not so much.

Yea exactly. Besides, Crosby/Kuni/Neal looked awesome out there today. Sutter stepped up as well. Team just needs to find that consistency.

So maybe they will take Fruit Bat for him? In all honesty though his center is Matt Stajan and he is probably playing pretty uninspired hockey.

Short term memory loss doesnt mean a whole lot. Just the obvious that he suffered a concussion. I had short term memory loss and was completely fine after 2 weeks. Every one is different. Tough to draw conclusions from anything.

Oh geez. My bad. I've never seen that before myself. There may be video of it somewhere. He hasn't scored at the games I've been to before.

How is Sid not on the ice for the empty netter? Again a decent win but TB was on back to backs just like Fla was. These were gifts from the schedule maker. And on top of that not all that impressive.

Nice goal by Bennett, that's what I wanted his first point to be, a solid goal. And it was nice to see a right handed shot on the PP. So many lefties takes away that one timer.

Again, I'll take the two but the problems are still there. This was a game that should have been put away.

Sid was on the ice when they iced the puck. By the time he won the faceoff and they'd cleared the zone. He did the responsible thing and made a line change. Much as I wanted a hat trick, it just wasn't in the cards. When Tampa pulled Garon the second time he was out there again, but the only real opportunity that they had was Fleury's.

Yeah Sid sucks, mush head and all didn't want the hat trick. JK

So Malkin has a concussion, so get ready for mush head #1 who now leads the league in scoring and Mush head #2 the reigning MVP and Art Ross winner.

Just to let you know before all the trolls they are 1 hit away from ending their career. DDDOOIIIIII.

Sutter could be Mush Head III he suffered a substantial concussion from a Doug Weight hit in his rookie year.

I'm just glad that the Pens are taking the cautious approach to this, and not pulling a Chicago with Hossa.

These handful of games are meaningless compared to the big picture.

We have to think this way. If we can make this team better for the playoffs, we should take the next step cautiously, not trading away big assets, only the ones we can afford.

Looking for silver linings, if Malkin is going to be back and fine in a week or two, maybe this time off is a good thing.

He played 37 games in the KHL, and pretty much went right to training camp and into the grind of this schedule. This break might help him in the long run.
