Their puck management has been brutal this period. Even the 3 and 4 line guys are looking to make a spectacular sideways pass. If ever there was a time to just get it deep and try to reestablish play in the Tampa zone, it's now. This team played last night and the Pens gave them life.

You're playing with a (frank)ing lead. Yet Letang still insists on forcing that low percentage cross-ice pass at the blueline to Crosby instead of playing it harmlessly down the wall into the corner. Stares the TB guy down, then dumps it off his shin guards. From making a sensation play to brain dead in the span of 20 seconds.

I'm not expecting to light it up or anything, but he seems slow to the puck. You want that fourth line to hold the puck and grind it out. Wear down the opposing D a little. He comes up short quite a bit on puck battles...IMO. Oh well.... guess it's me...
