Wow, I'm no Malkin fan, but I'd never wish an injury like that on anyone, even guys that cause them.
As far as the game is concerned, I don't think we should waste the penguins time. My Lightning are no match at the present time. Offensively yes, everything else.... No. Just take the two points and call it a night .

I think this could be a barn burner like 7-6 if you ask me. At least it has that potential IMO. I think this will be a very entertaining game.

Those are the lines at practice this morning. Looks like we won't even get a game in with just center bumping up. Oh well.

This will hold true until the 19 minute mark in the first.

Probably so. May even get mixed up before then. I was hoping we'd see Sutter and Bennett with Neal but no such luck yet.

switch bennett and kuni that would even out the lines a bit more and give bennett some confidence.. plus kuni will help out sutter and dupes

excited to see what he can do:
Under the radar

Russian winger Anton Zlobin, a sixth-round pick in last June's draft, has become an interesting darkhorse prospect in the Penguins organization.

His size (5-11, 198), strength and skating are questionable, but he's fifth in scoring in the Quebec Junior Hockey League with 82 points in 52 games for Val-d'Or. Two weeks ago, he had three goals and 12 points in a four-game stretch.

I'm glad we are back talking hockey. Score for tonight anyone? I'll say 4-2 Pens.

I think it's a 1 or 2 goal game. I'll go 4-2 as well. Stamkos and Conacher score for Tampa. Dupuis, Bennett, Letang and Neal for the Pens.

Me too. I'm just a little worried that we are a team now with one (REALLY good) scoring line, and a big drop off to the rest of the lines.

Penguins getting another team on the back end of the back to back (pretty nice scheduling). I don't know what to expect, no Geno might bring forth a bigger effort. I just want to see what Sid can do with Neal.

I would expect Martin and Letang on the points of the PP. This is the way I think it should always be.

TB brings some top tier talent, should be fun. Let's go Pens!

i think you may be underestimating sutter a bit. this team took tampa to seven games without sid AND geno.

Not particularly but Brunner is looking great---again. Detroit made a ridiculously good move bringing him in after he played with Zetterberg in Europe.

Wish it wasn't because of injury, but this will be the most complete line the Pens have iced all year.

Was reading on Tiops that the Pens are still heavily scouting the Wild.

Looking at Bouchard's numbers. He's not producing at all. Cullen is OK.

Bruner again. Sneaky shot from the wall. Luongo couldn't see it.
