Cody makes 900k, he's still here. They saved 900K by sending Cody down, add the 300K left on his deal to the 537K Porter makes.

That being said, I am not going to complain if they end up with MacKinnon, Drouin or any of the other top guys. The silver lining to this awful season is that the draft is loaded at the top with potential franchise guys.

But for God's sake, get a real GM to handle the draft!

It just took him a few seasons longer to turn things around there. No prospects or decent draft picks and a roster bloated with awful contracts on aging players. His worst mistake was hiring Ron Wilson as coach. Other than that, the leafs are now a Burke type team; tough, aggressive and fast skating. If we could land him, look out
