Rolston has coached 2 games, not 50 not 100, two games. Saying he will be looking for a job this summer is stupid. You guys are acting like a bunch of girls. Because its important to get a year or two of quality high draft picks.

Wings are really the last club that's won that hasn't done this, and their lack of high drafts is starting to show as their veterans continue to leave. Detroit this year isn't the same Detroit as last year or the year before.

Yeah and he'll probably act that way the entire time he's coach. It was said before that we'll rarely see this guy show a lot of emotion behind the bench. He's more of a reserved guy who will address things inside the locker room.

Not every single coach has stand up on the bench and scream every game, especially when he's been an NHL coach for a grand whopping 2 games. Don't you think the guy may be a little nervous?

The Seltzer/Hodgson trade for Kassian was a good trade.Bringing Ott and Scott in were good moves this offseason. What did most of the other teams do this offseason ? I cant fault Darcy for his recent trades. Other then back up goalie which they refuse to address.

The Penguins were one of the worst teams in the league until they got Crosby. They built a team around him. The Wings you have a valid point about. They seem to be able to lose whoever they want and still compete.

We haven't had a top five pick in a very very long time.

Not that it's the end all be all, but every current quality team has one or two hi draft picks in their roster that play key roles.

Vancouver, penguins, Chicago, Boston, Anaheim all do.

Edmonton has the potential to become very scary, I wouldn't use them as an example of first picks that don't turn a team around.

I wish we had Jeff Carter, he could start nailing some hockey wives and force Darcy to do some trading
